repeat call

Redials your last caller. even if you couldn't answer the telephone.

To Activate Repeat Call:

  1. Pick up your headset and listen for the dial tone. (If you have Call Waiting and disregard the tone that indicated you had another call coming in, depress the switch hook before hanging up. You will hear a special dial tone.)

  2. Dial *69. (On rotary phones, dial 1169.) Your call will go through as normal.

  3. If the number that you are dialing is busy, the system will check that phone number for up to 30 minutes.

  4. When the number that you are calling becomes available, Repeat Call will alert you with a special ring.

  5. As soon as you pick up the phone, Repeat Call will play the call for you.

To Deactivate Repeat Call:

  1. Depress the switch hook.

  2. You will hear a special dial tone. (If you have already hung up, just pick up your handset. You will hear the normal dial tone instead of a special dial tone.

  3. Press *89 and listen for the confirmation tone or announcement. (On rotary phones, dial 1189.)

  4. Hang up.

For Your Information:

This feature will not call back 1-800 or 1-900 numbers, numbers outside your specified service area, or phone lines were special features such as Selective Call Rejection or Call Forward have been activated. In certain areas, you will hear an announcement when you attempt to use Repeat Call. This announcement gives you the phone number of the call you missed and asks if you want to use the Repeat Call feature. In this case, just follow the voice instructions.

Note: Caller ID Blocking is available by pressing *67 before dialing a number.
